Air Brake Driver Program 16 Hours (Theory Only)

If you plan to upgrade your current license to a Class 1 or 3, you need the 16
hour air brake course.

You must obtain 80% or better on the ICBC Written Test to receive code 15 Air brake Endorsement

Note:

A) Certification does not guarantee ICBC will issue licence/ Air Brake Endorsement
B) ICBC may require a Certified Trainee to be retested by ICBC

20 Hour ICBC Certified Air Brake Course
Air endorsement for your Class 2, 4, or 5 licenses recommends enrolling in the
20-hour air brake course which includes a practicum and pre-trip inspection.

Note: After completing the 20-hour course, you have 30 days to be certified by ICBC.
