Class 3 Driver Training with Taylor Professional Driving
(in partnership with the College of New Caledonia)

Class Three (3)

This program was developed to train drivers in the correct and safe operation of a Class three (3) tandem axle truck. This prepares the student to work in various fields including, gravel truck, vacuum truck, garbage or recycling trucks and many more areas. The student trains in a full size highway tractor with a 13 or 18 speed road ranger style transmission. During this training the student will learn the timing of shifting up and down, the art of observation, road position and pre trip inspection along with other details in preparation for their road test at the motor vehicle branch.

 

This course is a total of 18 hours which includes the date of the road test through ICBC. This course is offered on a continous intake basis so as soon as the student has his/her learners he/she can start their training on our next available opening.

Class Three $100.00 Per Hour - Basic 18 hours Cost $1800.00 Inc Rd test time

Optional: 16 Hour Air Brake Course - $155.00 extra

There are some extra costs that the student is responsible for and they are as follows:

• Motor Vehicle Branch Air Brake written test $15.00
• Motor Vehicle Branch Class Three (3) Learners License $15.00
• Road Test Fee $50.00
• Licensing Fee $17.00
• BC Medical Examination Approx. $50.00 (depending on your doctors fees)
• CNC Registration Fee $ 5.00
