Taylor Professional Driving in Prince George has expanded over the years from a "one instructor and one truck operation" to a four trucks and four instructor facility. Taylor has developed a great reputation and is recognized by many companies as a company with experienced instructors producing well-skilled students that are an asset to the industry.
Altogether - our driving instructors offer more than 100 years of driving experience with highway and off-road equipment. Our instructors also have working experience in various others industries such as: heavy equipment, logging industry and road building.
Taylor Professional Driving provides a number of courses which are all taught by ICBC Certified Instructors such as:
- Class One Advanced Professional Driver Program (108 hours)
- Class One Development Professional Driver Program (90 hours)
- Basic Class One Driver Training (28 hours)
- Mentorship Program (262 hours) (still under development)
- 20 Hour ICBC Certified Air Brake Course
- 16 Hour Air Brake course
- Class 3 Professional Driver Training
- Class 4 Driver Training

Taylor Professional Driving is well aware of the shortage of Industry Trained Heavy Equipment Operators. With this in mind Taylor Professional Driving is proud to announce their partnership with O’Brien Training. This association opens the door for our students to take their training a step further and develop a more diverse resume.
Students are taught on modern equipment equivalent to those used in the industry today. These courses are competency based and job oriented. Training for Heavy Equipment Operator includes Excavators, Loaders/Backhoe, Dozers and Skidders and Feller Buncher type equipment. We specialize in training for the Forestry and Construction related industries.
To further accommodate students in the Northern Communities Taylor Professional Driving and O’Brien Training have formed a Partnership with the College of New Caledonia, Prince George BC.
Upon Successfully Completing the above components students will receive a Taylor Professional Driving Certificate of Achievement and will have the opportunity to continue into our mentorship program.
