Is there an age limit for attending O’Brien Training school?
Yes, we require that you be a minimum of 18 years old.
Do I need a learner license? I have a class 5 driver’s license.
Yes, any time you are changing class of licensing you need a learners to operate that class of vehicle.
Is there funding?
Some people have qualified for funding through E.I, in fact about 75% of our students have been through some time of funding program.
What tests do I need to take?
You will need to pass a test for your learner’s license, air brake course and your road test.
What’s the difference between 16 hr and the 20 hr air brake course?
The 16 hr course is all that you are in need of taking if you are continuing with class 3 or class 1 training. The 20 hr course is for those that just want to attach it to their class 5 license.
How long do I have after taking the air brake course to writing the government test?
If you have taken the 16 hour course you have up to a year, if you have taken the 20 hr course you have only one month.
How often are your programs run?
They are set up on continues bases, you do not have to wait for other student to be ready to start, as so as you are ready we get you started.
When do I need to renew my air brake?
After completing your training and have passed the government testing then you do not need to retake any further upgrading at this present time.
