Class One (1) Advanced Driver Program
This four week program (approx 108 hours) is a class one course that addresses the basics from the classroom in conjunction with our
68 Hours Class One Driver Training (Highway Truck):
In-town driving; hands-on training
in a variety of transmission styles
attached to a flat deck or a super B train. Focus will be spent on basic shifting, driver observation, and general driving skills; pretrip and post trip inspection as well as basic maintenance.
Highway driving; more challenging driving introducing new terrain and weather conditions addressing up and down shifting on hills.
Class One (1) Development Driver Program
This three week program (approx 98 hours) is a class one course that addresses the basics from the classroom in conjunction with our 50 hour driving program.
Classroom review covering the class one learners license. Interactive classroom training covering topics such as tire chains, log books, border crossings, weight loading techniques as well as extreme driving conditions. Many other important topics are also discussed that will help you to avoid unnecessary delays and possible fines.
“Hours of Service” regulations will be reviewed as well how to accurately complete and maintain a driver’s logbook. Drivers also visit the government weigh scales.
Certified Air Brake Training (16 hours)
Note: Air Brake Test must be passed before the road test. If a student fails three times the air brake course must be repeated at student cost
50 Hours Class One Driver Training (Highway Truck):

Class One (1) Basic Driver Program
This program has 28 hour program addresses the correct and safe method of operating a tractor-trailer unit and includes the ICBC road trip testing time.
The student trains in a full size highway tractor and a loaded trailer equipped with
in a variety of transmission styles.
The student will learn the art of observation, road position and the pre trip inspection prior to their road test at the motor vehicle branch.
Class Three (3) Driver Program
This 18 hour course addresses the correct and safe operation of a Class three (3) tandem axle truck preparing the student to work in various fields including, gravel truck, vacuum truck, garbage or recycling trucks and many more areas.
Training will be in a full size highway tractor
with a variety of transmission styles
.
The student will learn the timing of shifting up and down, the art of observation, road position and pre trip inspection along with other details in preparation for their road test at the motor vehicle branch.
This course also includes the date of the road test through ICBC.
Class Four (4) Unrestricted and Restricted
This program addresses the correct and safe method of operating a Class Four Vehicle.
This program prepares you for the road test at the Motor Vehicle Branch
The Average time spent in this type of training is 4-8 hours depending upon the type of driving the client plans on doing.
Training is available on an hourly basis , minimum of 4 hours.
The client is responsible for supplying the class 4 vehicle to be used during training.
Airbrake Programs
We have two programs for Air Brakes training. The 16 hour course is intended for students upgrading their license within 30 days of completion. This is a two-day (8 hours per) program held on weekends. The 20 hour course is a full blown classroom plus practicum training for those who have no previous experience.
